CARRD received a copy of a memo written by former High Speed Rail Authority board member Judge Quentin Kopp to CEO Roelof van Ark detailing his reasons for recommending that the Authority fire Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide.

The five year contract with Ogilvy is worth $9 million dollars. Judge Kopp argues that since Ogilvy began work in February 2010, their “inadequate performance can be measured, by among other things, the worsening legislative, media, academic, and popular comments in the public domain about our project.”
